By creating an account and using Antares you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms do not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Antares AI Limited, the company operating Antares.
Antares is a research intelligence system designed to guide researchers through their academic research journey. It is not a ghostwriting service and does not produce content for submission without researcher engagement and contribution.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Antares. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 you may not use the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Antares AI Limited is not responsible for problems arising from inaccurate account information.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or suspensions is not permitted.
You agree to use Antares only for legitimate research and academic purposes.

Antares provides research guidance and suggestions. You are solely responsible for how you use the suggestions provided and for ensuring your use complies with your institution's academic integrity requirements.
Antares is a research intelligence system — not a ghostwriting tool. It provides suggestions, guidance, and intellectual scaffolding that researchers build from. Every suggestion requires your review, adaptation, and confirmation before it becomes part of your work.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with your institution's academic integrity policy. Antares AI Limited is not liable for any academic misconduct findings, disciplinary action, or consequences arising from how you use the platform's output.
By using Antares you acknowledge that you understand the distinction between using AI-assisted research guidance and submitting AI-generated content as your own work without appropriate disclosure.
Free tier: New accounts receive 15 free sessions to explore the platform. Free sessions do not expire but once used the account moves to read-only access for existing projects until upgraded.
Pro tier: Pro access is available at 30,000 UGX per month. Pro subscribers have unlimited sessions and full access to all features.
Payment: Payments are processed securely by Pesapal. Antares AI Limited does not store your payment credentials, card numbers, or mobile money PINs. All payment processing is handled entirely by Pesapal in accordance with their terms and privacy policy.
Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until the period ends. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period.
Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case by case basis for technical failures that prevented access to the platform. Contact us at the email address below within 7 days of the charge to request a refund.
Ownership: You own all research content you create using Antares — your confirmed gap, your research question, your objectives, your uploaded documents, and your thesis drafts. Antares AI Limited does not claim ownership of your research.
Use of your data: Antares AI Limited uses your data solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your conversation history, uploaded documents, or thesis content for training AI models, for marketing purposes, or for any purpose beyond providing the research guidance service to your account.
Storage: Your project data including context files, uploaded documents, chat history, and generated content is stored securely on cloud servers operated by Antares AI Limited.
Self-initiated deletion: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon requesting deletion your account is immediately deactivated and a 30 day grace period begins. During this period you may contact us to restore your account if you change your mind. After 30 days all your data is permanently and irrecoverably deleted — including your project files, uploaded documents, chat history, generated content, and account record.
Admin-initiated deletion: Antares AI Limited may delete accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions. In such cases you will be notified by email and the same 30 day process applies unless the violation requires immediate termination.
Inactive accounts: Accounts are not automatically deleted due to inactivity. Your data is preserved until you explicitly request deletion.
After deletion: Once permanent deletion occurs after the 30 day grace period no data can be recovered. Antares AI Limited does not archive or retain deleted user data.
Antares's platform, design, AI systems, skill architecture, and all associated software are the intellectual property of Antares AI Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without explicit written permission from Antares AI Limited.
The research content you produce using Antares remains your intellectual property. Antares's suggestions are inputs to your creative and intellectual process — the research work you produce is yours.
Antares provides research guidance on an as-is basis. Antares AI Limited does not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, that suggestions will be error-free, or that citations provided will be accurate without verification.
You are responsible for verifying all citations marked with [VERIFY] before including them in academic submissions. Antares AI Limited is not liable for errors in unverified citations.
Antares AI Limited is not liable for any academic, professional, or personal consequences arising from your use of the platform including but not limited to academic misconduct findings, failed assessments, or thesis rejections.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law Antares AI Limited's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
Antares is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind. Antares AI Limited does not warrant that the platform will meet your specific research requirements, that the AI suggestions will be suitable for your institution's standards, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Antares AI Limited may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make significant changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from your use of Antares will be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.
